What my customers say

We've always thought ourselves to be incredibly lucky to have John as our designer. His work is of the absolute highest standard - for example many people have commented on the high quality of our website. It's pulled in customers and even other designers have been impressed. Not only that but John's customer service is second to none. He's extremely professional and also a very genuine and friendly person who truly cares about his clients and wants them to do well. We have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

Advocates for Animals website design

Screenshot from Advocates for Animals websiteScotland's leading animal protection group, Advocates for Animals, underwent a rebranding in the summer of 2009, so they needed a fresh new website that reflected their vibrant new image and could become a hub for news on animal welfare. Built using the Joomla open source CMS, it is easy for staff to update and is scalable, meaning it is able to match the ambitions of the Advocates for Animals team. www.advocatesforanimals.org

Redesign for Audit Scotland website

Audit Scotland websiteI carried out this work while employed by Audit Scotland during 2007. My redesign of the website involved the creation of internal focus groups and internal and external useability testing. As an inclusive organisation serving the public, accessibility was a key issue, and this website won an award from the Shaw Trust for its attention to detail in meeting the requirements of people with disabilities. This was a large project carried out on time and on budget. Visit www.audit-scotland.gov.uk
