A new website for Creative Town Planning

Screenshot for Creative Town Planning websiteI was approached by this town planning consultancy based in the south of England to refresh their online and offline communications. Starting off with a new logo design, I then carried this fresh brand across to their business cards and stationery. The website was the final part of the jigsaw and I built this using the Joomla CMS meaning the client can keep it up to date easily. www.creativetownplanning.co.uk

Website design for Contextual Art

Contextual Art website screenshotI was commissioned to design a website that showcased the artwork of CK Purandare, an artist whose paintings are a commentary on the contemporary times. He also runs workshops for schools and colleges that tackle issues such as Hunger, poverty and the environment. I developed the website with the Joomla content management system adding extensions for image rotation and comments. Visit www.contextualart.com

Advocates for Animals website design

Screenshot from Advocates for Animals websiteScotland's leading animal protection group, Advocates for Animals, underwent a rebranding in the summer of 2009, so they needed a fresh new website that reflected their vibrant new image and could become a hub for news on animal welfare. Built using the Joomla open source CMS, it is easy for staff to update and is scalable, meaning it is able to match the ambitions of the Advocates for Animals team. www.advocatesforanimals.org

Redesign for Audit Scotland website

Audit Scotland websiteI carried out this work while employed by Audit Scotland during 2007. My redesign of the website involved the creation of internal focus groups and internal and external useability testing. As an inclusive organisation serving the public, accessibility was a key issue, and this website won an award from the Shaw Trust for its attention to detail in meeting the requirements of people with disabilities. This was a large project carried out on time and on budget. Visit www.audit-scotland.gov.uk

A website for Walkerburn

Their community trust is working on a variety of positive projects to regenerate their area and needed a website to keep the community up to date.
